Mat Wars: Season 2, Episode 8
In episode 8, following his No-Gi victory at the CBJJF B.C. Provincial Open Championship 16 man invitational, Kwan suited up in the gi and looked to claim gold in that division.
Season 1 of Jeremy Brand‘s Mat Wars ended abruptly, but they are back with the second season.
This season is entitled ‘King of the Mat’ and the winner will move on and be known as the new king. In another innovation, to start the match, the challenger will flip a coin to determine whether the match is gi or no gi.
On Guard BJJ‘s Matt Kwan is the star of the season. In this episode, Kwan takes to the Richmond Oval to compete at the CBJJF B.C. Provincial Open Championship.
Last episode, Kwan was invited to participate in the 16-man lightweight no-gi invitational. In episode 8, following his No-Gi Invitational victory, Kwan suited up in the gi and looked to claim gold in that division.
Expect yet another format for Season 3!!!
