Martin Kampmann vs. Paulo Thiago in works for UFC 115

Las Vegas-based fighter Martin Kampmann is close to signing a deal to take on Paulo Thiago in a welterweight bout June 12 at UFC 115 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. According to sources close to the negotiations, both sides have verbally agreed to the bout and should sign official agreements as early as next week.

Kampmann (16-3), who trains full-time at Xtreme Couture, was forced to pull out of a welterweight contest with Ben Saunders at UFC 111 in Newark, New Jersey because of a cut over his right eye he suffered while training in February.
