Executive Director Greg Sirb notified MMAWeekly.com on Wednesday that the commission has received all the necessary paperwork and testing, and after a review, Marquardt is able to fight again.
Suspension was lifted today, Sirb wrote in an email to MMAWeekly.com.
This is at least one piece of the puzzle down for Marquardt, who was pulled last minute from his bout at UFC on Versus 4 after testing showed elevated levels of testosterone in his system.
Sources have indicated that Marquardt could have a new deal in place with a promotion sometime in the coming weeks, but as of today nothing is set in stone.
