In a back-and-forth affair, Mark Munoz barely edged Demian Maia on Saturday at UFC 131, winning the fight by unanimous decision.

The two grappling specialists traded punches for a round and a half until they decided to play to their strengths once they got a bit tired.

Once they did, wrestling ruled the day, as Munoz brought home a hugely important unanimous decision win.

Coming into the bout, both fighters had won their last two fights with Maia knocking off both Mario Miranda and Kendall Grove by decision and Munoz besting Aaron Simpson by decision and C.B. Dollaway by knockout
