During today’s (March 31, 2012) One FC 3: “War of Lions” event in Singapore, Melvin Manhoef was getting the better of his opponent, Yoshiyuki Nakanishi, using a mixture of kicks, to the head, the body and the legs. The deadly Dutch striker was doing quite well for himself and looked well on his way to an impressive victory.
Until the referee called a stop to the proceedings so the cageside doctor could check on a cut that had opened on Manhoef’s leg. It didn’t take long to make the decision to call a stop to the contest.
