Manager: Conor’s goal is to change the game
“His goal, is to change the game … He’s a very determined young man … He’s a very confident, very passionate, very determined, and very ambitious young man.”

Jonathan Shrager spoke with UFC featherweight Conor McGregor’s manager Audie Attar, founder of Paradigm Sports Management. Attar discussed how he got into the business, his pan-sports management, his clients which include of course Conor McGregor, plus Chris Weidman, Michael Bisping, among many others.
“Mentally, I’ve never seen anything like him, in over 20 years of managing high-level athletics,” said Attar. “He’s just a phenomenal athlete. He’s a great person, too. He’s loyal to his core. But he’s real man. He tells you how it is. He’s very intelligent too. He tells you what he’s thinking.
“People don’t give him credit for all this. But he did predict this. I give him that. He’s predicted a few things over the past two years.’
So is Attar thinking about asking Conor for lottery numbers?
“I’m thinking about playing,” said Attar. “I am not a gambler. But I am now thinking I am not maximizing the information that I have access to. “
“His goal, is to change the game. I can tell you one thing – he’s a very determined young man. So whether that means he’s going to raise the pay, I don’t know. He’s focused on his career. He doesn’t look at it as a movement, of any sort. He’s a very confident, very passionate, very determined, and very ambitious young man. And those are all great things to have … he’s very infectious in his ways. I don’t know what the byproduct of that will be.”
