Machida would love to fight top kickboxer, who accepts
“If he wants to fight me, I have no problem with that and I’m ready as long as UFC allows it,” tweeted Atrem Levin in response to Lyoto Machida’s wish to fight.

A number of MMA notables were ringside for Saturday’s Glory 17, including top UFC middleweight contender Lyoto Machida.
“The Dragon” spoke with John Joe O’Regan at the event, and said that he was interested in fighting tournament winner Russian light heavyweight Artem “The Lion” Levin.
“I’d love to fight that guy,” said Machida. “If I could do a one-fight deal to fight with him, I definitely would. I like his style.”
Levin was game, as long as the UFC was.
“If he wants to fight me, I have no problem with that and I’m ready as long as UFC allows it,” tweeted Levin.
However, Machida has a title fight vs. Chris Weidman on July 5, 2014 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. And the UFC is not going to temporarily release a top prospect to go fight in a high profile bout on Spike. Further, Levin has an 84-6-1 kickboxing record, but has never tried MMA. The UFC is not going to sign an 0-0 fighter.
So the chances of the pair fighting any time soon are up there is a 500′ tall winged monkey flying out of your butt, but that doesn’t mean it would not be a cool fight.
