Although not yet officially announced, according to Ariel Helwani, who often gets scoops for MMA Fighting, middleweight contenders Luke Rockhold and Lyoto Machida are slated to fight at UFC on FOX 15 in Newark, N.J. on April 18.
The main event fight will be for five rounds.
Rockhold is on a three fight win streak, beating Costas Philippou, Tim Boetsch, and Michael Bisping in just 11 minutes and 36 seconds. That is not the average time, that is the combined time for all three fights. Machida won three of his past four, with the sole loss being to Chris Weidman in a title challenge.
UFC on FOX 15 will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
