MacDonald wants winner of Hendricks/Lawler
Rory MacDonald is fresh off a win over Demian Maia at UFC 170 and now campaigning for a title shot versus the winner of Robbie Lawler and Johny Hendricks.
Rory MacDonald was in a number one contenders fight when he fought Robbie Lawler, he just didn’t know it. Lawler received a title fight versus Johny Hendricks after beating MacDonald when champion Georges St-Pierre walked away from the UFC.
Now with his latest win over Demian Maia, MacDonald is campaigning for the next title shot:

Although MacDonald is only riding a one fight win streak, he has won six of his last seven bouts and the argument could be made he is the only viable contender for the title after Hendricks and Lawler battle it out.
