Numerous sources have confirmed that welterweight prospect Rory “The Waterboy” MacDonald is likely going to square off against rugged veteran Matt “The Immortal” Brown at UFC 123, tentatively scheduled for November 20th.
MacDonald, who hails from Kelowna, British Columbia, suffered the first defeat of his young career, when with seven seconds left in his UFC 115 bout vs Carlos Condit, the referee stepped in to halt the action.
Brown will also be looking to return to the win column, having lost his last two bouts via submission, to Chris Lytle and Ricardo Almeida, respectively, and may also be fighting to keep his job with the UFC.
