MacDonald: GSP more interested in ‘super fights’
Rory MacDonald: “I don’t know if [Georges St-Pierre]’s coming back…But as far as I know, if he does I think he’s more interested in superfights and whatnot.”
Teammate and friend Rory MacDonald recently spoke about the possibility of Georges St-Pierre to the UFC and revealed what he thinks would bring him back:
“From what we’ve talked about, he’s not coming back for the belt,” MacDonald said. “He’s coming back for the odd fight that interests him. If…if he comes back.”
Here the arena erupted, as it felt like a positive indication that the 34-year-old St-Pierre would indeed be coming back.
“Okay, keep it in your pants,” MacDonald said. He then reverted back to what he was saying earlier about being (mostly) in the dark on the matter.
“I don’t know if he’s coming back,” he added. “But as far as I know, if he does I think he’s more interested in superfights and whatnot.”
