Luke Rockhold appears on Millionaire Matchmaker
“You’re telling me that for nine years you haven’t had a girlfriend? Has this thing been used a lot? Do I need to take alcohol and hose it down?”
When Millionaire Matchmaker reached out to the UFC for a suitable candidate, they came back with Luke Rockhold.
They give me all the dirty work, said a laughing Rockhold to Ryan Masters for the Santa Cruz Sentinel. Someone has to do it.
The UFC middleweight had a characteristic confrontation with host of the “reality” series Patti Stanger.
“You’re twenty f@$%ing nine years old, and you’re telling me that for nine years you haven’t had a girlfriend?” she asked. “What do you do one-night stands??
Then she reached down and made a hand motion over his nether region.
“Has this thing been used a lot?” she asked. “Do I need to take alcohol and hose it down?”
Rockhold reflected positively on the experience.
She is an intense individual to be sure, but I took it lightheartedly — I wasn’t fazed,” he said. “You have to take the high road with this lady. She has her own issues.
They say there’s no such thing as bad publicity — I hope that’s true. It all depends on how they edit the show — they can make you look any way they want. You just have to understand that going in. I figure I have a 50/50 chance on this one.
Rockhold fights former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida on April 18 in the main event of UFC on FOX 15 main event.
There’s a lot of hype behind this match up, Rockhold said. I believe I’m the best fighter in the world. I think this will prove it.
