After Jake Ellenberger was injured, Tarec Saffiedine versus Hyun Gyu Lim was elevated to the main event for the UFC Fight Night 35. When Lim was first told of the news, he thought it was a joke:
Korean Top Team is full of jokesters, and we always play around with each other, Lim told MMAjunkie through a translator. So at first, when they told me that unfortunately Jake Ellenberger got hurt and I was going to be elevated to the main event, I didn’t believe it. I thought they were joking. I didn’t believe it until after my coach told me it was true.
