LAS VEGAS – LFA president Sven Bean announced today that the LFA has entered into two event production agreements in November of 2023.
“For November, the LFA team will return to two markets that have become fixture destinations on the LFA tour route,” said Bean, who handles venue booking and scheduling for the LFA.
“We will kick things off with another event in Brazil. We will return to the Ginasio do Polvilho in Cajamar, Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Friday, November 3,” stated Bean.
“Our show always looks good at what has become our ‘home base’ venue in Brazil. It is the perfect size for our event production, and we try to increase the level of production with each event. We will need to be on our toes for this one as the UFC will be in Sao Paulo for their event the next night. I am super confident that our amazing team in Brazil, led by Rafael ‘Feijao,’ will once again rise to the occasion and put on an fantastic show for everyone.”
LFA VP of South America, Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante added:
“I am excited for the LFA to return to Brazil in November. We will return to the Ginasio do Polvilho, in Cajamar with the continued support of mayor Danilo Joan. Our success in the region is a direct result of his efforts. Knowing that UFC brass will be just down the road, I am looking forward to the challenge of raising the bar, and pushing our team to produce an incredible show. We will again be accepting donations of food in exchange for tickets to the event. The food will then be distributed to underprivileged families in the area.”
LFA 171 will be broadcast live at 9 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass.
“Then two weeks later, the LFA will return to the Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday, Novemberber 17,” stated Bean.
“We have a long history in Phoenix, this venue, and their team. Our last event there was in 2022, so it will be nice to be back on familiar territory in what will be last show of the year in the market. Over the years we have been able to create a production model that results in a great broadcast every time we go there. The layout allows us to stretch out a bit as a production, and I’m excited to bring the LFA back to the venue.”
Live Nations regional general manager of operations Eric Larson agreed:
“Working with the LFA since 2017 has been really great. They have a spectacular crew, and their experience shines through each event. The quality of fights they put on are second to none, and it’s truly a who’s who in attendance, as well. We look forward to this event in November and our continued successful partnership with the entire LFA Team!”
