Jeremy Brand from MMASucka surveyed a selection of the MMA online media for their scores of Saturday’s main event between Johny Hendricks and nneeeeewwwwwww champion Robbie Lawler.

The official judge’s scores were:

Sal D’Amato: 48-47 Hendricks (Lawler wins 1 and 5. Hendricks wins 2, 3, 4)

Marcos Rosales: 48-47 Lawler (Lawler wins 1, 4 and 5. Hendricks wins 2, 3)

Glenn Trowbridge 49-46 Lawler (Lawler wins 1, 2, 4, 5. Hendricks wins 3)

The online media by and large saw it differently:

Ian Bain (MMA Opinion) 48-47 for Hendricks, then Lawler*

Duane Finley (Bleacher Report) 48-47 Hendricks

James Lynch (Sportsnet) 48-47 Hendricks

Damon Martin (FOX Sports) 48-47 Hendricks

Adam Martin (MMAOddsbreaker) 48-47 Hendricks

Marc Raimondi (MMAFighting) 48-47 Hendricks

Mookie Alexander (BloodyElbow) 48-47 Hendricks

Erik Fontanez (MMAWeekly) 48-47 Hendricks

Kirik Jenness (MixedMartialArts.com) 48-47 Hendricks**

Lopati Panza (MMAMadhouse) 48-47 Lawler

Nick Kalikas (MMAOddsbreaker) 48-47 Lawler***

General consensus was that the fight was so close 48-47 either way is arguable, and that the 49-46 score for Lawler is not arguable, it is lose-your-job wrong.

So UG, how did you score it?

*Originally scored it 48-47 for Hendricks, but changed opinion after a second viewing. Second viewings are of course not available when judging. On the other hand, watching the fight the first time, you not watch as a judge.

**Scored fight as an ass in a seat, not a judge, and happy to be wrong.

***Thought the judges would see it 48-47 Hendricks but personally had it 48-47 Lawler.
