Making it to a world title fight is the goal of all athletes in mixed martial arts. Usually the road is tough and hard fought, but the chance to call yourself a world champion is unmatched in sporst.
With GSP vacating his title, Robbie Lawler was selected to fight Johny Hendricks to determine a new UFC welterweight world champion. The announcement was sure to make both fighters happy, but the always non-chalant Lawler kept it pretty simple when he learned about the fight:
