WILMINGTON – When he entered the ring tonight at World Championship Fighting 11 in Wilmington Dan Lauzon nonchalantly kissed both of his biceps.

Granted, it would’ve been more appropriate had the 23-year-old kissed his left hand because the UFC veteran landed it at will en route to a dominate first round TKO win over Noah Weisman for the WCF lightweight title.

From the start of the opening bell Lauzon (15-4) found his range with his left hand. Weisman (5-2) came in close with different combinations but Lauzon dipped and ducked past his opponent’s punches. A southpaw, Lauzon landed his left straight and left hook multiple times throughout the first couple of minutes bloodying Weisman’s nose. And it was a left-right combination that put Weisman flat on his back. Lauzon then pounced and continued the onslaught until the referee pulled him off at 3:56.

I want to thank Noah for taking this fight. He’s really tough. I caught him a couple times clean and he stayed on his feet, Lauzon said.
