Yahoo Sport’s Elias Cepeda sat down with Joe Lauzon, who fights Mc Danzig on the main card of UFC on FOX 9 this Saturday, on free tv. Both Lauzon and Danzig are on two-fight losing streaks, which sets the stakes higher still.
“I try not to dwell on losses for too long afterwards,” said Lauzon. “But I’ll always want to get that one back.”
“I can’t speak for him but I know how it feels to want to get another win real badly. All the fight night awards don’t make you feel better about a loss.”
“I can’t wait to get back into the Octagon on Saturday. I think he’s a better match up for me, in terms of speed. The idea is to make Mac pay for what I felt losing the last time.”
