There was controversy in the co-main event, as Polish veteran Daniel Omielanczuk (26-13-1) was awarded the split-decision win over top Czech heavyweight Michal Martinek (10-4), much to the dismay of the Czech fighter’s team. As a result, Martinek’s team submitted an official appeal and there will a fully independent review.
