Light heavyweights Kyle Kingsbury and Jared Hamman are expected to clash in a preliminary card bout at UFC Fight Night 22.
UFC Fight Night 22 takes place Sept. 15 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, and airs live on Spike TV, though the promotion has yet to officially announce the event.
It will have been nearly one year since Kingsbury last set foot in the octagon. The American Kickboxing Academy fighter most recently fought the Afro-puffed Razak Al-Hussan at UFC 104 this past October and won by split decision.
Hamman most recently got on the winning track with a unanimous decision victory over Rodney Wallace at UFC 111, which won him an extra $65,000 for “Fight of the Night.”
