King of the Mat: Season 2, Episode 2

Season 1 of Jeremy Brand‘s Mat Wars ended abruptly, but they are back with the second season.

This season is entitled ‘King of the Mat’ and the winner will move on and be known as the new king. In another innovation, to start the match, the challenger will flip a coin to determine whether the match is gi or no gi.

On Guard BJJ‘s Matt Kwan is the king of the show for this episode, but who knows who will prevail following the match. Kwan embarks to Checkmat Vancouver in the second episode of the season and takes on veteran brown belt Tristan ‘Boondock’ Connelly.

New episodes will be released every two weeks.
