Kimbo says Petruzelli better watch himself in that ‘sissy’ ice cream shop

The UFC continued the hype for Wednesday’s promotion debut for Kimbo Slice on “The Ultimate Fighter” with a teleconference Monday. Kimbo fights Roy Nelson in what’s expected to be the highest rated episode in the history of TUF. The fight is so big, it prompted the first ever in-season press meeting with TUF fighters. These calls are tricky because the fighters and the promotion have to be careful not to give away the results of the show, so the conference drifted away from the Nelson fight when Kimbo was told that his nemesis Seth Petruzelli had been talking trash about him.
Petruzelli was the fighter who handed Kimbo his first loss on CBS back in October of 2008. “The Silverback” has repeatedly said that Kimbo turned down a rematch:
“Seth needs to be careful now because we both live in the same backyard, and I know that little sissy ice cream shop [he owns], I can walk in at any given time and go, ‘Yo, what’s up, man?'” Kimbo told the collected media and MMAJunkie on the conference call.
Petruzelli owns several Smoothie King’s in South Florida. That might be a nice ad slogan: “The Sissy Ice Cream Shop!”
