On the undercard of last weekend’s “It’s Showtime” card in Prague, headlined by Badr Hari vs. Mourad Bouzidi, Sengoku FWGP veteran and Korean Top Team member Chan Sung Jung was not given much chance in his match, taking on Lumpinee Stadium Champion and Thai fighting legend Pajonsuk.
Throughout the first round of the fight, Pajonsuk tried to overwhelm Jung with his powerful high kicks, and had the fight in hand until a short spinning backfist from Jung caught him flush on the chin as he bounced off the ropes.
Unfortunately for Jung, the spinning backfist, a legal technique in K-1 competition, is not allowed under the It’s Showtime ruleset. Pajonsuk, unable to continue in the fight, was handed the disqualification victory.
