Framingham native and top local bantamweight Ken Stone has signed a multi-fight deal with the WEC and is expected to make his promotional debut in December at WEC 53.
WEC officials confirmed the news with the Herald.
The 28-year-old wrestled at Division 3 Bridgewater State and got his start in MMA at Dragon Lair in Framingham then South Shore Sport Fighting in Rockland. Earlier this year he moved to Florida to train with American Top Team. He made his return to New England in October for the American Fighting Organization and beat Jason Bennett by guillotine in the first round.
