Conor McGregor head coach John Kavanagh has been confirmed as a guest and coach for Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions, on November 17th. It will be the second Brave event attended by Kavanagh, who will be in the corner for SBG Ireland’s Frans Mlambo and Daniele Scatizzi. They will face Michael Deiga-Scheck and Charlie Leary, respectively.
Bahrain’s Hamza Kooheji had a Live Instagram interview on Brave’s Official Profile, and his opponent Mohammad Farhad’s fans commented that he would be knocked out by the India prospect. Kooheji’s fans fought back, claiming their idol would submit Farhad, a statement endorsed by Hamza himself. The Pride of Bahrain claimed he didn’t see the fight going the distance, and would look to finish Farhad early on in their bout.
Featherweight title challenger Lucas Martins sat down with MMA Brasil to talk about his fight against current champion Elias Boudegzdame and laid out bold plans for his short-term future with Brave. The Brazilian said he would go for the Lightweight belt after becoming world champion at 66 kg. in the co-main event of Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions.
Finally, Frans Mlambo has been keen to prove his doubters wrong in his next Brave outing. Set for a scrap against German-Brazilian Michael Deiga-Scheck, Mlambo said, in an interview with Severe MMA, that he wants to show some of the new tricks he acquired in his time away from MMA.

Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions marks the promotion’s return to Bahrain after a year. During 2017, the organization has put on groundbreaking events in countries such as Brazil (twice), Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, India, and Kazakhstan. Brave 9 will be the culmination of the International Combat Week, alongside the IMMAF World Championships, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
