Jones loses MuscleTech sponsorship
Mutiple sources report that ssponsor MuscleTech has terminated Jon Jones’ sponsorship, and removed his name from their website and social media.
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been suspended indefinitely and had his title taken as a result of his arrest for leaving an accident involving personal injuries, a felony charge with a penalty of up to three years in prison. Further, Reebok withdrew their sponsorship.
A number of figures in the mixed martial arts space have said what Jon Jones is going through is the wake up call that he needed. The wake up alarm continues to blare – multiple sources report that MuscleTech has terminated his sponsorship, and removed his name from their website and social media.
The company also sponsors Jones’ brothers Arthur and Chandler, who play for the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots, respectively. The brother’s sponsorship with MuscleTech remains.
