The Office of the Athletics Commissioner of Ontario medically suspended every fighter at UFC 165 for a minimum of 14 days. In addition, eight other fighters including headliners Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson were suspended for longer periods, subject to various required medical procedures.

Jon Jones: Suspended 60 days. Requires CT scan and X-ray prior to return.

Alexander Gustafsson: Suspended 60 days. Requires CT scan prior to return.

Eddie Wineland: Suspended 60 days. Requires CT scan prior to return.

Matthew Mitrione: Suspended 30 days. Requires CT scan prior to return.

Mike Ricci: Suspended 30 days. Requires X-ray prior to return.

Chris Clements: Suspended 60 days. Requires CT scan prior to return.

Renee Forte: Suspended 60 days. Requires CT scan prior to return.

Nandor Guelmino: Suspended 60 days. Requires CT scan prior to return.

Remaining 18 fighters were suspended for 14 days.
