Depending upon how reigning light heavyweight king Jon Jones recovers from Saturday’s lopsided victory over Rashad Evans, the 24-year-old could make his next title defense at UFC 149 against Dan Henderson. If UFC president Dana White gets his way, the 205-pound shootout will headline the July 21st festivities.
[Jones’] hands are sore, you know, all the things that go along with coming out of a fight like that. We got to give them a few weeks to see how he feels and we’ll figure out what the main event is in Calgary, White stated. But that would be awesome. If we could make that fight, that would be great.
