Told from Jon Jones’ point of view with no outside narration, “UFC Presents Jon Jones: In the Moment” covers the fighter’s quick ascent in the UFC’s 205-pound division and his first-ever UFC title shot. The special takes viewers inside his training camp and family life both in his home state of New York and in his camp at Greg Jackson’s New Mexico gym.

“When I’m training for a training camp, I got to beat all the weaknesses inside of me. I got to beat the uncomfort in the Octagon that’s inside of me.”

“It’s like I’m climbing a ladder that you can never get to the top of. And that’s what wakes me up in the morning, trying to get as close to perfection as possible. In a sport like MMA there is no perfection.”

“I just want to be remembered as a person who set the pace, who set the tone for his own destiny. Despite where you’ve come from and what you’ve been through, the failures you’ve had, you can be great, starting tomorrow.”

MMAjunkie.com has learned that the debut airing of “Jon Jones: In the Moment,” a half-hour special following the fighter’s pre-fight preparations for this weekend’s UFC 128 showdown with Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, drew 555,000 viewers to Spike TV.

The numbers eclipsed the debut airing of “Countdown to UFC 128,” which focused on a handful of the card’s top matchups and scored 406,000 viewers in its first run.
