Jon Jones: I’m gonna show you how great I am
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones made his first tweet in nearly six months, although it was cryptic to a degree, it sounds like he’s back.
It is often said that some of the top figures in MMA don’t even create their own social network messages. Not so with former UFC light heavyweight Jon Jones. In fact, the only person who makes that claim is, occasionally, Jones himself.
The fighter has a long history of posting inappropriate messages, and quickly deleting them. When it gets really bad, he has stated that his phone was hacked.
On April 19th he posted after UFC on FOX 15: Machida vs. Rockhold ended.

Then his life imploded, and appropriately, he went silent on Twitter for months. On Sept 29 he retweeted a management statement on his court ordered punishment.

The tweet is a little cryptic. Perhaps Jones means he is going to become a great humanitarian. In all likelihood though, it sounds like Jon Jones is back. Given that the courts have determined his crime was relatively mild, his employers with whom he enjoys a contract will be obligated to book a fight, and regulators will be obligated to sanction it.
