Jon Jones is the greatest fighter in mixed martial arts history. Too, it is widely said that Jon Jones’ worst enemy is himself. If that is so, then the worst of the worst enemies is Jones when he is driving, as seen in this timeline.

Arrested Following Crash, Pleads Guilty To Misdemeanor DWI
Jones pulled over after hitting a utility pole, injuring two female passengers, and totaling his new Bentley. Jones refuses sobriety test and taken into custody. Later pleads guilty to the misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated.

Driving Without License, Registration, And Insurance
Jones cited for driving without a license, proof of registration and insurance. Ordered to complete three days of community service for not reporting the incident to his probation officer. Warned by the judge to not to receive any more citations.

Arrested After Violating Probation
Jones is ticketed by passive aggressive police officer for drag racing, exhibition driving, weaving, improperly displaying his license plate, and having a modified exhaust pipe. Jones later taken into custody and spends two nights in jail.

Jon Jones is a multi millionaire who spends money prudently, not extravagantly. There is a solution to these legal woes more obvious than some lifestyle changes, which are challenging for human beings. Jon Jones clearly needs to get a driver.

His coach Greg Jackson appeared recently on The MMA Hour, and reports that he has!

“It was an unfortunate situation with everyone kind of being at fault a bit,” said Jackson, as transcribed by Adam Guillen, for MMA Mania. “But ultimately the responsibility is Jon’s. It’s a bad situation, but he came out of there really focused and really positive. That’s the thing with Jon, as long as he is laser-focused, he is a force to be reckoned with. He is really focused right now. It wasn’t a good thing, but he isn’t physically injured, he doesn’t have anything wrong — he made a mistake and maybe said some things he shouldn’t have. It was just a bad situation all the way around. He got in trouble, refocused when he came out, that’s the part I like. He’s focused and he’s got a driver now so everything should be fine. I just want him to focus on the fight, that’s what he needs to worry about. The rest of the circus he needs to not be distracted by. He’s a warrior and he needs to focus on that.”

Jones confirmed the new arrangement, on the same show.

“I have him here and he’s driving me between every practice all day, even at night now,” said Jones as transcribed by Shaun Al-Shatti for MMAFighting.com. “I figured I’d take getting in trouble out of the police’s hands by simply not driving.”
