Jon Jones denies spy charge, says Rampage in MMA only for the money

Earlier, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson voiced suspicions about a training-camp spy, secretly infiltrated to report back to Jon Jones’ camp on injuries, elbows, and whatever else fight camp spies report on.

In addition to the accusation, Rampage questioned Jones’ honor, and lastly said he didn’t care at all.

I don’t care what Jon Jones is doing,” Rampage said. “I don’t care what his game plan is. I have zero care. I still have the honor of a fighter and going into battle the right way, not spying on my opponent. I’m not scared about my opponent, asking a lot of questions or worrying about what he’s doing. I don’t even watch film.

Jones’ manager Malki Kawa quickly swore to God that there was no truth to it.

Now Jones himself has taken to twitter, flatly denied the spying charge, and cast his own aspersions on Rampage.

“@Rampage4real Just so you know, I’m not a person who looks for shortcuts in life. Unlike you, MMA is not something I do because of money. It’s a way of life for me and I would never disrespect the integrity of that. I have way more faith in myself, as well as respect for the art of fighting to ever stoop that low, thats just bad karma. Believe me or not, I’ve said my part, hoping you have a safe and healthy finish to your camp.”

Jones and Jackson have a title fight scheduled for Sept. 24 at UFC 135 in Denver.
