Jon Jones brother Arthur fails PED test
Jon Jones’ older brother Arthur has been caught by the NFL taking PEDs
UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones recently failed a Performance Enhancing Drug test. Now unfortunate word comes that his NFL-playing older brother Arthur has likewise failed a PED test.
In a start contrast of how seriously PEDs are taken in the NFL vs. in the UFC, Jones faces a two year suspension, if it is determined that the drug was not unknowingly taken. If Jones can prove that an unscrupulous supplement company put the PED in a seemingly normal vitamin, the suspension could be reduced to six months. Arthur, who failed a test, faces only a four-game suspension, and is eligible to participate in the Colts’ preseason games and practices.
Arthur, a defensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts, will be elegible to play starting on October 3. Jones, if found to have taken PEDs, will not be elegible to return until July of 2018.
