El_Geronimo_de_Gato – Why has there been so much difficulty forming a fighters union, in your opinion ? Any advice or plausible solutions for guys reading this ?

Also, do you still train with Josh ?

for so long fighters have been pitted against each other, divide and conquer, but we are starting to talk and work together now. check out the mmafa website mmafa.tv and educate yourself on what we are doing.

going to fresno next week to mtrain with kos.

Hate420 – Awesome TTT…..does BoilerBrawn have a fight lined up?

And why Gaethje/Palomino 2? Is the WSOF LW roster really that shallow?

fighting Okami on Oct 17

first fight was great so why not.

RickStorm –

wow! great job Kirik..

Welcome back to the UG Jon!!

So how’s life treating you outside competing?

life outside of competing sucks pretty bad. lesson learned. at least got to spend tons of time with kiddies and been training some future monsters at OKG.

Don Brodka – You ever miss Indiana?

Have you ever thought about selling a “Fitch Face” t-shirt?

Thanks.

i go back to indiana and visit family when ever i can. i would be open to doing a fitch face shirt if someone cut me a good deal to make it.

liljacare – Do you think switching to vegan diet impacted your strength and probably attributed to your loss?

Have you stopped that diet and got back on eating meat?

Thanks and good luck!

it didnt impact strength but i did get injured more often. back on meat but i eat really clean and lots of fruit and veggies.

my mindset was the root of losses, was also sick for Maia fight. some kind of lung thing, could breath. was to scared to pull out of fight after weigh ins. was afraid of consequences. pretty stupid considering i got cut anyway for the loss.

The Power Double – – What do you think is the single biggest problem with the UFC in the way it treats the fighters and/or approaches the sport?

– What do you make of King Mo’s comments that MMA still isn’t a pure sport because the competitors are pressured into fighting in a certain way and rewarded for recklessness?

Thanks Jon! You’re a beast mate

its a monopoly, fighters should have more open ended contracts so they can play the market and go to highest bidder. also promotions are match makers and give rankings, too much control. need 3rd party rankings and outside matchmaking.

king mo is spot on. being exciting should only effect your paycheck and sponsors. should not keep you from advancing from winning. no other sport works like that.

FETT_TFK_Tat2tillidie – What surprised you the most when you fought GSP for the WW title ? That was a awesome fight and you showed a ton of heart in that fight , you kept coming forward the whole fight … GSP had a way of negating everyone’s strength and I wasn’t sure how he’d deal with your takedowns and GNP …

How do you think a rematch would go between you two if you fought again ?

Always a fan of yours and thanks for doing this Q and A …

honestly nothing surprised me with GSP, he was what i thought he was. a great fighter. i just made 2 major mistakes and got dropped because my striking defense was shit at the time.

ive always thought i would beat mhim in a rematch. he was just better that night.

UGCTT_FryedTakayama – Do you hate Steve Mazzagatti?

no, i think there are so many problems with how things are done with scoring and reffing that you cant blame one person. the blueprints are shit so things break.

stringtheory – Great work Kirik!

I will keep it generic.

What would you say is your best win/moment in your career?

erik silva win was pretty great experience. not just the fight but the camp, pressure of the situation(money problems), and fightingn in rio. the whole thing was like a movie.

MountainMedic – One of my ALL time favorite fighters.

Hows the relationship ship with Kos?

Hows Crazy Bob? Any stories?

How has AKA changed over the years?

Can you discuss the likeness issues/UFC shitshow?

Future plans? Are you going to coach?

training with him next week.

Bob is good, having some back trouble.

AKA is strong as always.

Monopolies choke out growth.

Im coaching at OKG in vegas.

Andrewsimar Palhardass – You experienced the Palhares ridiculousness. What do you think is to be done about that guy?

it should have been done after the first offense. then maybe he would have corrected himself. nothing happened though so he continued.

Jalal – Comment on king mo saying MMA is entertainment and not a sport?

Also whether the most popular fighters are the ones really holding back a fighters Union?

everything is entertainment.

education is only thing holding back.
