Pretty bold for the veteran, who first emerged on the national stage as a finalist on The Ultimate Fighter 12. Johnson struggled early in his UFC career, losing in the reality show’s finale and getting submitted in the first round by the unheralded Paul Sass. Back-to-back losses endangered his career in 2013, but he’s since won four straight over stiff opposition.
