Anthony Johnson fell short of his dream of winning the UFC title, losing to Daniel Cormier in the third round, but the young fighter is hopeful that he will be able to build his way back to another title fight:

A lot of people would have given up if they went through what I went through; I’m just proud of myself for not giving up and trying to be the best person I can be and do the best that I can do and try to be something in life, Johnson told MMAjunkie following the event. My goal is still to be champion one day. I was on a nine-fight win-streak and Daniel just defeated me. But I promise I’ll be back. I don’t care who I have to fight, when I have to fight them or where I have to fight them. I will be back and whoever’s there, hey, let’s do it.
