People are saying Joseph might be next, which is fine, Johnson said. I’m a competitor. … I want to fight whoever is going to get me to that number – breaking the record for title defenses.
There’s no reason for UFC officials to make a decision on Johnson’s next opponent until after UFC Fight Night 78, which takes place Nov. 21 at Mexico’s Monterrey Arena. But if you think Johnson is laying out potential scenarios in his head and sweating the possibilities, think again.
