After ten years and 23 fights in the UFC, lightweight Joe Lauzon is still staying busy. After a Split Decision victory over Marcin Held in January that relied heavily on new interpretations of judging standards, Lauzon has another fight scheduled. He will fight Scotland’s Stevie Ray in a lightweight contest at UFC Fight Night 108 on April 22 in Nashville.
Nicknamed ‘F***in’, Ray is large for a lightweight, cutting from the high 180s. The former Cage Warriors FC champion is 4-1 in the UFC, most recently beating Ross Pearson via Split Decision at UFC Fight Night: Mousasi vs. Hall 2 on November 19, 2016.
The Tennessee event will feature Lauzon MMA’s Joe Proctor vs. Bryan Barberena on the same card, and is headlined by Cub Swanson vs. Artem Lobov.
