Brazilian jiu-jitsu superstar Robert Drysdale has signed a four-fight contract with Canada’s Armageddon Fighting Championship.
Drysdale, the 2007 ADCC Absolute Division Champion, is scheduled to make his professional mixed martial arts debut at AFC 3: Evolution on July 17. No opponent has been named at this time.
Drysdale is known as one of the pre-eminent superstars in the world of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Born in Utah, Drysdale moved to Brazil with his family at the age of six, where he stayed until college. He began training BJJ in 1998 and earned his black belt in 2005. Drysdale has six world BJJ championships to his credit.
