Jedrzejczyk vs. Gadelha on Jan 2 at UFC 195

UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will fight Claudia Gadelha, provided the Brazilian recovers in time from a finger injury.

Friday morning UFC women’s bantamweight Ronda Rousey announced that she would be fighting Holly Holm at UFC 195 on Jan 3, 2016.

In an interview with the LA Times’ Lance Pugmire, UFC president Dana White revealed that the co-main will be UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk fighting, likely vs. Claudia Gadelha, provided the Brazilian recovers in time from a finger injury. It is believed the injury will heal sufficiently for the fight to happen.

The pair fought at UFC on Fox 13 last December, with Jedrzejczyk taking a split decision. The Polish fighter won the title her next fight.

White also said he hopes to match Miesha Tate with Amanda Nunes on the same card.
