Junior Dos Santos is one of the heavyweight divisions top fighters, but has lost two of three title fights to Cain Velasquez. However, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want another shot at the champion and warns the divisions he is planning on getting right back to the top:

“Life is evolution, especially when you’re an athlete. I have evolved a lot since I came to Rio, I see the fights from a different perspective now,” he added. “You have to get out of your comfort zone to evolve, and that’s what happened to me. I hope I can show my fans how much I have evolved.”

After a rough year in 2014, “Cigano” is “not even thinking about” the title. That doesn’t mean he’s not planning on getting the UFC gold back, though.

“My intention is to fight and start a win streak. I don’t choose opponents. My job is to fight and win,” dos Santos said. “My goal is to be the number one, and I will work hard to get there again. I had to evolve, work on new strategies and feel good, and it happened. I’m on an excellent team and things will happen. I will get this title soon. I will win my fights and they can’t deny me another shot at the UFC title.”
