“The Ultimate Fighter 9” welterweight champ James Wilks (7-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC) goes for his sixth win in seven fights when he meets Claude Patrick (12-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC), a fighter attempting his 12th straight win, at UFC 120.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today confirmed the fight, which was first reported on Mauro Ranallo’s “The Fight Show,” with sources close to the event.
Although not officially announced by the promotion, UFC 120 is expected to take place Oct. 16 at The O2 in London.
The night’s main card airs via same-day delay on Spike TV, though it’s not clear if Wilks vs. Patrick will be part of the broadcast.
