Should Conor McGregor embrace a potential fight with Jake Paul the YouTube star has some thoughts about the degree of difficulty of “moving up” in class.

Paul, 24, has become a sensation in the world of boxing for better or worse. The social media influencer turned professional pugilist moved his unbeaten record to 4-0 on Sunday night after beating former UItimate Fighting Championship welterweight titleholder Tyron Woodley by split decision. His value in combat sports is as high as ever and the possibilities seem endless following his latest victory.

Is Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor or Nate Diaz a possibility?

“We’re on the path to a lot bigger fights, I’m salivating too because I’m just getting warmed up,” Paul said after his victory on Showtime pay-per-view. “Conor McGregor has a lot more to focus on besides me right now. I’m four wins in a row, he’s 1-3 in the past four years. So the guy needs to get off his vodka or whatever his brand is, sober up and start to get back in the gym, and then we can f*cking fight.”

“To be honest, no way he hits harder than Woodley. He doesn’t weigh as much as Woodley. He’s shorter than Woodley. I’ve said it before the fight, I think Woodley is a harder fight than him, especially the way he’s going. Conor is going down, I’m going up. Woodley came in [very] game, we’ll see.”

Paul previously beat Woodley’s teammate, and former Bellator and ONE welterweight champion, Ben Askren, via technical knockout in the headliner of a Triller Fight Club event before taking his talents to Showtime Boxing.

He hasn’t been shy about sparring with UFC fighters via the media. In response to Nate Diaz posting on Twitter, “These guys both suck” during the fight, Paul said, “Again, another loser talking up.”

“Of course he wants a payday,” Paul added. “I’m one of the money fighters now in boxing. The guy’s got a chin, but he doesn’t land punches right. So that fight’s there. No problem. Thank you for the attention. Thank you for watching me. I appreciate it fanboy.”
