DUBLIN – As anticipation builds for Bellator MMA’s return to Dublin’s iconic 3Arena on Saturday, February 25, 2023, the promotion will hold a special event to celebrate one of the most passionate and loyal fanbases on the planet and gather donations for a great cause.
On Saturday, December 17, legendary MMA coach John Kavanagh and current Irish Bellator stars Peter Queally, Sinead Kavanagh, Brian Moore and Darragh Kelly will be at SBG Ireland HQ, as they fill the cage with new children’s toys for St. Vincent de Paul (SVP).
SVP is the largest voluntary charitable organization in Ireland and has been working to help people experiencing poverty and disadvantage since 1844.
Fans are encouraged to join the Bellator stars and donate new toys that SVP will then distribute amongst underprivileged children across Dublin to brighten their holiday season. Fans will also get to mingle with their Bellator heroes, along with live music, treats and more … all for a great cause!
There will also be the chance for MMA fanatics to have their photo taken with Bellator ring girl Pamela Ryan and to take home some fantastic prizes from the event.
Fans unable to join us in the cage will have the opportunity to drop off toys at any local SVP location in the lead up to December 17. The festive event will be broadcast live on FM104
With the countdown for Bellator 291 well underway, the promotion is bracing itself for another exhilarating night of action on Saturday, February 25.
Welterweight world champion Yaroslav Amosov (26-0) makes his comeback after the heroic defense of his home country of Ukraine, where he will rematch against interim title holder Logan Storley (14-1). In the co-main event SBG Ireland standout Pedro Carvalho (13-6) faces Jeremy Kennedy (18-3) in a long-awaited bout that will get pulses racing. They’re joined by a host of home favorites, including Queally, Kavanagh, Ciaran Clarke and Moore, who are sure to have the electric local crowd behind them.
