According to reports, Chris Weidman has been forced out of his planned UFC 199 championship rematch with Luke Rockhold.
After initial reports by TalkMMA on Twitter, FloCombat reported the bout is off. MMAjunkie subsequently confirmed the injury with sources close to the bout.
Rockhold reacted to the news on social media saying he was ready to go and will fight anyone the UFC comes up with:

No official announcement has been made by the UFC who is likely waiting to lock down a replacement before putting out a press release.
