Indiana AC to regulate MMA

The Indiana State Athletic Commission will be conducting a meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Indiana Government Center-South, Conference Room #22. This meeting will include a discussion of the latest versions of the proposed emergency rules for both professional unarmed combat and professional boxing (unarmed combat rules are attached). These latest versions have taken into account the written public comments that were received after the posting of the previous draft of proposed emergency rules.

The meeting is open to the public. If you wish to observe the Commission’s discussion of the latest version of the proposed emergency rules, please join us.

The Commission will also be taking public comments at this meeting. Public comments can be either general in nature or specific to any particular rule sections of the latest proposed versions of emergency rules linked above. Please do not prepare your comments based off of the previous draft of proposed emergency rules. No individual will be permitted to provide comments for a period of time that exceeds ten minutes.
