Image series shows Cerrone eye healing up nicely

Two weeks ago, Donald Cerrone posted a message saying that his eye was alright and that the fight with Matt Brown at UFC 206 would go forward. Despite Cowboy’s enjoyment of a wide range of activities that could knock your eye out, it appeared simply to be make up, presumably from a television series he had a role in.
Cerrone appeared in an uncredited role in the series Justified in 2013, as a fighter. He is currently filming television Western set in the 1880s. Make up looked good.
A week later, he posted another image, of the eye bandaged over. There was amused respect for the kayfabe.
However, when Cerrone appeared as a (not?) board member of the new Mixed Martial Arts Athlete’s Association with a bandage over the eye, it seemed really far to take a prank.
Four days ago he appeared in a video with massive BMF tattoo, and an actual black eye.
Where exactly reality fits into this is not entirely apparent. If there is anyone in the UFC likely to get an eye professionally made up to appear destroyed, and then actually get the eye injured, it is Cerrone.
Whatever is going on, Donald Cerrone fights Matt Brown on the main card of UFC 206 on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
