I’m on a different TRT now
Vitor Belfort: “I’m still using TRT. You know the meaning? True revival touch. That’s what I’m in right now.”

In 2013 Vitor Belfort famously knocked out three top competitors, all via head kick. But he was on Testosterone Replacement Therapy at the time, which cast the feat in a suspicious light. In fact, Henderson, who was one of the three, said that he felt Belfort was on more than just TRT.
However, at UFC Fight Night 77 on Saturday night, after a training camp in which Belfort was subject to random, comprehensive, out-of-competition PED testing, he did it again. Hendo fell to a head kick in the trilogy fight. Belfort is now tied with Anderson Silva for most stoppages in UFC history.
At the post fight press conference, Belfort said he was on a new TRT.
I’m still using TRT, joked Belfort to Steven Marrocco for MMAjunkie. You know the meaning? True revival touch. That’s what I’m in right now. I want to thank god for giving me the strength and the ability to be who I am. I am who I am.
Legacy is not something that you leave for yourself. So for me, when I fight, I don’t try to think to beat records. I just do it because I love it; I’ve been doing it for 20 years. My inspiration and my motivation is beyond that. It’s something personal, so I’m very thankful that god thanked me with god skills, and I evolved and I try to get better every day. It’s simple.
Belfort did a curious post fight callout.
“There’s a guy, Luke Rockhold, that keeps talking a lot,” said Belfort to Guilherme Cruz for MMA Fighting. “He’s talking a lot, he’s a talker. Disrespectful guy. Really good, talented, but… I’ve got my eye on him.”
“As I do him,” tweeted Rockhold in reply.
Rockhold of course fights Chris Weidman on December 12. Should Rockhold win, a revenge fight with Belfort would be a natural.
