Ido Portal is throwing cards at McGregor to prepare for Mayweather
Ido Portal: “Abandoning original prediction and installing a secondary one in a fraction of a second – an ability that often makes the difference between the BEST and just GOOD.”

Conor McGregor is by far the best trash talker in the UFC. However, in their two fights, Nick Diaz was better.
“I’m not surprised, motherf@$%ers,” will always be part of the MMA vernacular. By contrast, McGregor meanwhile muttered darkly about “Cholos.”
However, Diaz’s most memorable line came about when McGregor bizarrely questioned the quality of Nate’s camp.
Who do you train with? You’ve got that little goofy motherf***er with you. I have real training partners, said Diaz. Top 10 fighters, Top 10 boxers, Top 10 jiu-jitsu guys, Top 10 kickboxers. You’re playing touch butt with that dork in the park with the ponytail. And I’m the one who don’t got no training partners? I don’t think so.”
All I see is this guy in the park with the goofball with the pony tail….I’ll have one of my littlest dudes slap the s*** out of that guy. What the f***?”
“Touch butt in the park” became shorthand in MMA for Ido Portal’s Movement Culture. And now he’s back, but without the ponytail.
“REACTION is comprised often of a sizeable PREDICTION,” wrote Portal recently on Instagram. “Using the chaotic trajectory of a flying card to keep Conor McGregor sharp, adaptive, and responsive to an unexpected situation, with focus on abandoning original prediction and installing a secondary one in a fraction of a second – an ability that often makes the difference between the BEST and just GOOD.
“Ongoing work towards Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather – August 26th.
Just adding my small ‘squeeze of lime’ onto all the hard grind that goes on daily as it is – sparring, mitts, heavy bag, cardio, etc.”
Mayweather is himself a world-class trash talker, but his reaction to Portal’s latest training may be bafflement as to why David Blaine is throwing a deck of cards at Conor McGregor.
