Hunter removed from UFC on FOX 21 for potential doping violation
UFC fighter pull from Saturday fight over potential doping violation

The massive UFC 200 card saw one fighter, interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones pulled from the card days before for a potential doping violation, and another, former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, who faces sanction after the fight, for a test taken before hand, for which the results were not returned in time.
Middleweight Adam Hunter had already made weight for his UFC debut vs. Ryan Janes, when was pulled from the card over a potential violation. Janes too was making his UFC debut. The now cancelled fight would have been on UFC Fight Pass.
The news came via UFC.com.
The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Adam Hunter of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection on August 11, 2016.
USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case. It is important to note that, under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full fair legal review process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed.
However, because Hunter was scheduled to compete against Ryan Janes this coming Saturday, August 27 in Vancouver, British Columbia, there is insufficient time for a full review before the scheduled bout and therefore the fight has been removed from the fight card.
Consistent with all previous potential anti-doping violations, additional information or UFC statements will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward.
Janes will receive his show money. The UFC is actively seeing to book him another fight shortly. However, Janes was not impressed.
F*** that cheat, said Janes to Nick Baldwin for BE. He got out easy. And I wish I was surprised.
If USADA determines that Hunter knowingly took a PED, he faces a suspension of two years.
